1. Log into your OGRCC account OGRCC Log-In Page
You will need to create an account before registering for tryouts. At bottom of page
where it says first time visitor, click the yellow box that says register and proceed
with the registration process.
2. Register for appropriate tryout. Complete payment.
3. Submit completed personal information sheet
4. Submit Bobby V's Waiver to OGRCC office
5. Submit copy of Birth Certificate (new players only)
6. Attend appropriate tryout time.
The Program: Thunder Baseball will enter its fourth year in 2010 and field teams u9-u12. Try outs will occur later this year and be conducted over two mandatory sessions conducted by Bobby Valentine Sports Academy (BV).
The teams will:
- Have 5 elective training sessions on Saturday mornings in January at Bobby Valentines conducted by BV professional coaches
- Have 3 mandatory training sessions in late March and early April conducted by parent coaches
- Have 8 weekly outdoor practices conducted by BV professional coaches beginning the week of April 19th, 2010
- Play 16 to 20 games in the Westchester Baseball Association in July and early/mid August
- An Elective Trip to the Cooperstown Baseball World from 7/31 to 8/6

For those players who wish to play Cal Ripken baseball, we make every effort to avoid conflicts with that program and will not begin playing until Cal Ripken is over. The Tryouts will cost $15. The price of the program is $390. The price of the elective January sessions is $150. The uniform costs approximately $67.
Parent Informational Meeting: November 9th at 7:30PM Eastern Greenwich Civic Center (Bring your questions, meeting should last no longer than 1 hour.

Tryouts: (All those trying out MUST sign up BEFORE the Tryouts - YOU MUST BE SIGNED IN TO SIGN UP):
The tryouts occur at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center on November 19th (Fielding and Pitching) and December 12th (Running and Hitting). Attendance is required at both. They will be broken up by age, arrive 20 minutes early:
• U9 November 19 from 5-6 pm and December 12 from 5-6 pm.
• U10 November 19 from 6-7 pm and December 12 from 6-7 pm.
• U11 November 19 from 7-8 pm and December 12 from 7-8 pm.
• U12 November 19 from 8-9 pm and December 12 from 8-9 pm.
• Bring a glove and bat with the player’s name and telephone number clearly marked.
• Parents should plan on dropping the player off for the entire appointed time and will NOT be allowed in.
• Players will be given a number to put on his or her shirt and sent into the gym for evaluation by BV staff, each player will go to all stations, including pitching.
